Herbaceous perennials are a huge group encompassing any plant that has a distinctive growing season and dies down during the winter.

They literally span the A-Z of plants and comprise a vast range of flowering and non-flowering plants including some of our favourites such as lilies, peonies and geraniums.

They are often small and low flowering impact plants and so are a must for everyone’s garden. They create extra interest when planted in groups or drifts. Perennials can also be used in a range of different growing conditions, from sunny to shady, moist to dry.
