Maintenance

TENDERCARE's services do not necessarily stop once we have planted your selections. We offer a service whereby we visit you to advise what level of cultural work is needed to maintain the correct growing environment for your plants.

Every plant or tree will need rejuvenative pruning from time to time, application of nutrients at certain times of year, and protection against pests or diseases.

We also advocate the use of bark mulch as a top dressing to suppress weed growth, retain moisture and provide a clean and finished look to the garden.

These can be provided as a top-up dressing or put in place at the time of planting.

We offer visits to check your stock and the health of your trees, particularly if there are changes happening in your garden or its surroundings, such as building work.

This can take the form of responding to a call out, or scheduling regular visits for ongoing maintenance consultancy.
