Magnolias
Magnolias have been grown in Britain since the 1700s and are suitable
for every garden situation, hence their popularity. They are usually among
the first plants to bloom in a typical spring garden and we love them
because of their abundant, large scented flowers which frequently open
even before the leaves.
The range of colours is from white to pinks and purples. Flowers are
upright and star shaped. They make compact shrubs or large trees and can
be grown as free standing specimens or trained as wall shrubs. They also
make ideal small trees with clear stems. Even better – they flower more
prolifically with age.
TENDERCARE has more than 15 varieties of Magnolia and
over 350 plants to select from ranging from one to four meters tall.
