Parkland trees are majestic trees that grow to huge proportions over a period of years, making them unsuitable for anything other than the greater landscape. Oaks for instance grow for hundreds and even thousands of years and would be too big for anything other than a large garden or sweeping landscape.

The common perception is that if you have a hankering for a magnificent parkland tree, you will never be able to have it because it takes too long to grow. However, nothing can be further from the truth because the very nature of TENDERCARE’s concept means you can buy your very own parkland trees and have them transported to your grounds to create an instant park.

Here are just a few examples to give you an idea of the type and height of trees available:

Beech trees are grown to over ten meters tall at TENDERCARE. They are placed in huge crates that can be transported to your garden.

Silver birch – grown to over nine meters

English oaks and evergreen oaks – a selection of more than eight meters in height

Sweet gums – these colour scarlet in autumn

Alders – suitable for moist ground, they are around eight to nine meters tall

Ornamental pears – at over seven meters, these make unusual display trees

Horse chestnuts – these are magnificent specimens, usually over seven meters tall with three meter crowns.
