Making the most of your visits

Most people new to TENDERCARE underestimate the size and scale of our nursery and the products we sell. A simple ‘browse’ around our 20-acre site could take several hours, so rather than be overwhelmed; we have made life easy for you with easy guidance and advice.

Just browsing …

If you are visiting for the first time and want to gain an idea of what we can offer, we suggest you initially venture unaccompanied to gain an impression before returning for advice. Be sure to call in at the sales office before you start for a map and price list. Then you can return for further assistance. Whilst we can't promise a personal guide for your visit, a horticultural advisor is always available in the office to help you plan your plant-hunting strategy.

Determining prices …

Each plant is labelled with its unique batch number, and this identifies the price and location of the plant. The 'Quick Reference Price Guide' lists batch numbers consecutively and the plant's individual price (exclusive of VAT). The nursery selection is arranged in alphabetical order. There are additional details of the plant, such as its current height, spread and location.

Detailed selections …

If you are serious about planning your garden TENDERCARE operates an appointment system, whereby you can book some time with a sales advisor to escort you around the nursery. This procedure suits people who have a relatively clear idea of what they want to achieve and are ready to choose their plants.
