The establishment rate for mature plants is significantly higher than for standard stock (over 99% of TENDERCARE’s plants have flourished over the last 14 years!). Care should be taken to understand the cultural requirements of the plants, but their needs are really no different than for a young plant.

We have developed techniques to ensure that plants are not put under stress: understanding the best time for transplanting and containerizing stock ensures that plants are in the best condition for the customer. Potting techniques have been developed to improve the root to shoot ratio in the plants, thus ensuring balanced and well prepared stock.
