Sale of Plants - Terms & Conditions

Order Cancellations

  1. Once tagged, if an order is cancelled within 7 days by the buyer, we reserve the right to charge 10% of the order or value of goods being cancelled, to cover the time we need to de-tag the stock and cover costs expended to date.
  2. After 7 days, orders can only be cancelled by agreement with us and will incur a minimum cancellation charge of 30% of the order value.
  3. Where stock is being bought in for a customer based on a supplied photograph of the plant, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the order value. If the plant is not as shown in the photograph, a full refund will be given.

Deliveries and Collection

  1. Charges are based on the vehicle size required and your postcode. Delivery charges include for delivery and offloading of plants up to 130L size pots to a flat surfaced area in the front of your property. For larger sized stock (over 130L), a fork lift offload will be required to off-load. This is charged separately or included in our planting service.
  2. Your order will be scheduled to be delivered within 10 days for orders in the South East and within 20 days for further afield.

Delivery Off-Loading

  1. All deliveries are accompanied by a delivery note. The purchaser needs to have a person available to check the delivery with our driver, sign and accept the delivery.
  2. Deliveries are made on the public highway. Where there is a need to come off the public highway in order to get closer to the desired point of delivery, this must be discussed at the time of placing the order. It is the Driver’s decision whether it is safe for that vehicle.
  3. We check stock quality both at tagging and picking stage but should you be unhappy with stock sent, please leave it on the lorry. If the stock does get unloaded and you are unhappy with it, defects must be reported within 3 days of delivery and prior to planting.
  4. All plants up to a pot size of 130L will be offloaded by our driver using a tail lift, and can be wheeled on a flat surface on your property that’s nearest to the road.
  5. For pots sizes over 130L, specialist handling is required and a charge is made if we are to provide this service. Your needs will be discussed at the time of order.
  6. We also offer a full supply and plant service with a Warranty.

Collections from the Nursery

  1. Our collection service works best if you can give us at least 24 hours notice so we can get your plants ready. Nearby parking bays behind the office, make it easy to load up. (For larger stock over 50L, handling equipment is needed for picking and loading) a minimum of 24 hours notice is required.
  2. When collecting please ensure that your vehicle has a cover to protect plants to comply with the plant handling code of practice for plants in transit.
